Cranefly?

I was walking around the block looking for TT subjects when I thought I was being attacked by enormous mosquitos. Looking on the internet I think they were craneflies. No doubt someone will let me know. This was almost and inch long. I was pleased with the sharpness of this pic ;-)

I am adding another spider orchid in extras as well as a hakea flower.
Mike the slasher was meant to do his thing this afternoon, so we zoomed down here without stopping only to find, when calling him, that he had forgotten to tell the actual slasher dude.......oh dear.....
