Foul Weather

It's a horrid day weather-wise.  Rainy, foggy, and altogether gloomy.  Mabel hates going out in these conditions, and I can't blame her -- it can't be pleasant at all to have to drag your low-slung tummy through puddles and wet leaves!

Here she is not enjoying her morning walk.  At least she has quite a collection of foul weather gear to fall back on it times like these:  no fewer than two rain jackets, and an assortment of towels for post-exercise drying of paws and afore-mentioned tummy.  The red towel is embroidered with Mabel's predecessors' names -- beloved BB and Sally.  I like to think of them giving Mabel a little warm, dry hug every time she uses it.
