Tulip Tree

I was on my walk with Pepper late afternoon and paused to capture this beautiful tree on the verge outside a nearby house. Light was fading but it still looked stunning. The lady of the house told me it is a tulip tree and has beautiful green tulip shaped buds in the spring. I want one!

It gets dark quite early now and very quickly too so we couldn't dilly dally and moved on with our walk.
