There ain't nothin' like a Dame

Particularily if it's Dame Helen Mirren.

She is playing The Queen again. This time in Peter Morgan's play The Audience at the Gielgud Theatre. We bumped into her as we were leaving after the performance tonight.

The story is based around the weekly audiences Her Majesty has with serving Prime Ministers from Churchill to the present day. As these meetings are held entirely in private, the plot is of course entirely fictional and licence for a fair bit of humour.

I highly recommend Brit's to see it if you can get a ticket. If you are in NYC, it will transfer to Broadway soon.
