Day 299 - Lightning Tree No More

During my Photo a Day I have been known to take a tree photo. However, there are two who get their picture taken all the time. Yesterday, while passing this place. just round the corner from my house, I Noticed that the Lightning Tree had been cut down. This will now become part of a house or a garden. very disappointing. These are all the images I have taken of the tree this year. The snowy one was taken on Day 1 New Years Day.
