Tropical sunrise

Another day, another sunrise! Today there are too many beautiful shots to chose from.
More coconut palms and a golden sun cresting the clouds. The structure in the water is the stinger net - it is not safe to swim in these waters in the summer season (called the "wet" season) because of the stingers, a small marine "box jellyfish" whose sting is deadly. So each beach has stinger nets which are supposed to provide a safe place to swim.
It was hard looking at the beautiful warm water and being afraid to even dip a toe in except within the nets!
There are also posts at regular intervals along each beach, each holding a bottle of household vinegar (dyed blue to prevent misuse, e.g. on someone's chips). If someone is stung, vinegar applied liberally can stop the venom injected into the skin.
