Autumn fire

The weather was sooooo wet and it tippled down all day long. However, the grey day could not dim the beautiful colour of this acer which I see every time I look out of the kitchen window. I think that this is its best autumn since we planted it ten years ago. Although some of the leaves have started to fall, it is still hanging on to quite for a few days longer.
