Nurse Hare-O!

You thought you'd seen the last of the Hares around Southend! But you were wrong! The summer long event finished last month and was then followed by a charity auction where you could bid to own your own hare! If only I'd won the lottery!!  I think 35 hares were sold in total and raised an amazing  £225,000 on the night, and £447,000 raised in total over the Summer for a local hospice!

And one of the hares was bought by Boots Optician in the high street so it was lovely to see it in the window today when we nipped in for some shopping!

Another dry day today - still feeling mild too!
