Stump up yer Fungi

I was on the way back from yet another appointment and wanted to see how the beech tunnel was doing. I think there's still scope for more colour, so I'll try again next week, assuming the wind doesn't get there first.

This tree stump is home to a multitude of fungi, of which I am familiar with precisely zero.

Maybe there is something in the mycelium - round the back of the stump there was a (extra) sign.   

Atrocious weather, as forecast, although weirdly warm. Unsurprisingly L’s outdoor activity day was cancelled. Keswick is on a flood warning.
