Wound up in Wexford

Priorities

As we started assembling the stuff to pack for our trip to Ireland, it was important to get our priorities right - wine, gin and coffee.  Also a pack of lateral flow tests in case of any ill health.  And ibuprofen for the after effects!

Shortly after this, the table was much more full - with crisps, snacks, chocolate and other essentials such as egg poachers for Sunday breakfast.  We even take our own ice tray these days, having discovered that this is something often missing from self-catering accommodation.  Now all packed into a couple of boxes.  Clothes, shoes and cameras also packed.  Paperwork includes a receipt for having completed the Irish version of the passenger locator form, and our vaccine passports downloaded from the NHS app, as well as the ferry tickets.  Just a few bits from the fridge to put into a cool bag in the morning - hopefully they will be OK for the 36 hours transit.  We're staying overnight in a hotel near Fishguard tomorrow night, before catching the 1pm ferry on Friday.
