Looked like crucifixes flying through the sky but it was electricity poles rebuilding the Isle of Arran's network. Eastily winds with snow formed heavy tubes of ice around the wires which brought the wires down, snapped poles or pull over the poles, its a very big job for the electricity company and a long slog for the people effected but the island are pulling together and supporting each other
