AN ANTEATER FOR ALL SEASONS

It could have been worse – Wilson did not spend yesterday actually inventing, only writing and drawing.
Today he showed me the fruits of his labour: an illustrated book entitled An Anteater For All Seasons.
I've not yet read it, only flicked through the pages and glanced at the pictures – but I think it might be summed up in a sentence as: 'struggles with ideas of identity and conscience' accompanied by many illustrations…
But don't be fooled by Wilson's collection of luxury fountain pens – you see that ratty, much-chewed pencil stub in the foreground?
That is what he uses for what he calls his 'best writing'.
I think it's his favourite because of the little rubber eraser on the end, since it tastes nice when he sucks on it…
