Monty

It is a very sad day for us today as we said goodbye to our beautiful little bird, Monty.  
Monty was diagnosed with cancer in August and it gradually wore him down. He made his last trip to the vet in Kirkwall this morning and was put to sleep.
Monty was 34 years old and was a huge part of our lives.
He had always enjoyed life to the full and was full of fun and mischief. He had a wide vocabulary and understood how to use it. Our home seems a quiet and empty place today and we are sure it will do for some time to come.
This blip is a repeat, I first blipped it in April this year in happier times, when he was entertaining us with swinging upside down in his cage.
