Terrible storm!!

UPDATE, our power came back at 7:30 PM, we are warm and cozy once more, just some lost food, no damage, very thankful and lucky!

Who knows if I can publish this, no power and spotty cell service. I see that it went through which is a relief! Who knows about tomorrow and Saturday, that’s our hope for power. Our cell service is awful too.

We survived with only one branch down, no damage and by Saturday the contents of the fridge and freezer will be tossed out.  Compared to what others have lost we are so lucky.

We are at our annual mammograms now and taking advantage of the ability to recharge phones and T’ s work laptop. I took this photo on the ride here. So many trees and branches down, traffic lights out and telephone poles in tangled messes. No school, no power. 90 mph winds by the coast, it was a howling wind, terrifying, actually.

It’s the first storm with spotty cell service, so it’s frustrating. Merry is as close to the gas fireplace as she can get. We have a gas water heater and gas stove, we can manually light the burners, so we have no complaints.

Missed a day in 11 years and no back-blips, but this might be a back blip situation:(
