The Pilgrim's Progress Window.

This Memorial Window is in St Andrew's Street Baptist Church, Cambridge. It was erected to commemorate those who gave their lives in World War 1, and a plaque was later added for World War 2. The window depicts three figures from John Bunyan's The Pilgrim's Progress.
FREEDOM shows Christian being set free from his burden of sin and guilt, in the middle window.
TRUTH represented by Mr Valient-for-Truth, is on the left.
SELF-SACRIFICE showing Faithful praying at the stake, where he represents Christian, is on the right.
Above the main windows, is the vision of the Celestial City of God, towards which, the Pilgrims are travelling.
I have a copy of Pilgrim's Progress printed in 1881 with the beautiful wood engravings. The certificate inside says :- SCHOOL BOARD of LONDON, awarded for punctual and regular attendance at Princess Rd School. Head Teacher, George Bull.
HAPPY EASTER TO YOU ALL
