Not a flower ....

...... just leaves from a Flowering Currant bush.

I just loves the edges to the leaves ..... looks like someone has very carefully added some rust coloured paint to the vibrant green leaves and the rain has added a gloss to the top leaf.

What a wet day but we have been spared the serious flooding that has affected many towns.

Not surprisingly there weren't too many people in the park this morning but as I'm looking after a friend's dog this week we just had to go out for a splash in the puddles.
