Surprise

I happened to glance at the clematis plant as I passed by and saw these two very dark flowers. This is a new plant and obviously late to flower, being so dark it wasn’t too visible, don’t know how long it has been on show but thought it was worth a picture. We have had couple of heavy showers so everywhere was dripping.
