No swimming today

See the red life buoy just sticking out of the water - now look at this link to see where it normally is when we go for a swim.  Where has the jetty gone?  Hardly surprisingly, swimming was cancelled , imagine the run off of animal "stuff" off the fields and over flowing septic tanks..............
Instead we met for breakfast at the old station café , then walked around Haverthwaite Heights . In extras is a collage showing a van we watched drive into and get stuck in a flood, my walking buddy wading up a path and the boat houses at Fell Foot , well and truly flooded. No wonder the park was closed.
