Cheese Toastie -EB

A long and tiring day.  KG had to go to a follow up appointment for his eyes today (all good no change) and also offered to help the research team. Consequently they arranged a taxi to take us there and back -- All good the taxi arrived just before quarter to ten.  At the eye hospital just after ten and all went well - waiting for the consultant just after 10:30  and called to have another scan - so another wait.  The guy doing this promised to let the research team know but now had the letter with the details on.  After a few questions we got to the right place.  Obviously we were late for this appointment and all went well and a taxi was arranged for us to go back.  When we got out it was bucketing down - we duly waited and no taxis arrived after 40 mins we decided that we had better catch the bus.  Headed for the bus station as we decided if it was going to rain we at least would be dry.  26 min wait for the bus.  it was late setting off and it was slow as the A38 was very busy.  Got home about 3 and I did some fish and chips for us.  We watched Tipping Point and the Chase  and after I did a cheese toastie each - which is my EB and about all my brain could manage.
It was a long and trying day and doesn't feel like Friday
A very wet start - heavy rain when as came out of the BEH and the gutters were spilling over onto the pavement but sunny and bright whe we got home
