Ballachulish bridge - Loch Leven/Loch Linnhe

The A82 road south from Lochaber takes you across this bridge before heading up Glencoe. Only opened in 1975 it used to be nicknamed 'Kig Kong's coat hanger' when it was painted peppermint green.

The mountains seen beyond it's framework are part of the Ballachulish horseshoe. They form a great walk with terrific views right up and down the west coast.

However, we are stiff and sore from the previous day, so for the moment happy to be comfortably seated and not having to pound our feet. But by the time I get to put this picture up I know where I would rather be.
