Golden waxcap

Keeping up this week's fungi theme, here is a little clump of golden waxcap growing on common land. As you can see from the tiny clover leaves around them they're small, about thumbnail size. The newly emerged waxcaps have a slimy coating; the shine makes photographing them quite a challenge but I'm quite happy with the result. that. They're beautiful and quite mysterious so in my book they're are pretty perfect.
