The decisive moment?

After the dry of the south, I returned to the wet of the north, and boy, it's been wet. Honister measured 364mm of rain over the past 2 days, and there's more forecast.

The main pic was taken by the Howrahs, where the road had flooded (to a depth of about a foot) and this girl - who was with a group of her friends all wearing wellies except her - decided that running across the flood would keep her feet dryer. I managed to catch her just as her heel was touching the water. Alsoo a couple of extras of the floods.
