Unexpected visitor

What a rare treat I had this morning , I heard the birds chatting in the trees but as I moved closer I realized to my surprise 3 of these treasures perched in the tree in my back yard.
I ran to get my camera when I returned and started shooting the were posing for me and moved even closer.
Superstitious people in this country kill these birds as they are thought to be a bad omen.
I hope to see them again but it unlikely.
