‘Fungi’

On my way from the car to the start at parkrun this morning, spotted this tree trunk sporting a range of fungi in an interesting series of patterns with the bark they were on. I must have passed this tree many hundred times, but this was the first time I’d even noticed this. This photo is of only a small part - blipping certainly encourages you to notice things!

The volunteer roles today were taken over by members of Corstorphine Running Club, several of whom had a very scary look! I particularly liked this one - very menacing! (See extra)
