Guy Fawkes on The Green outside The Bull, awaiting his untimely demise later today on this evening's Newick Bonfire.

In today's 'Extra', a couple driving by in an open-top MG sports car are momentarily distracted by the preparations underway for this evening's event.

Well done to the Newick Bonfire Society for making this happen once again in 2021, after a year's absence, and doubts right up until about a month ago as to whether anything would be possible this year.
