Out with the old, in with the new

We had fish and chips and a walk along Gullane beach and looking across to Methil I could see an oil rig, hopefully being decommissioned and next to it a new wind turbine in the sea.  I also photographed later a jacket (or based) for an offshore wind turbine being towed out to the North Sea.  Lots to do.  There is 10GW of offshore wind at the moment.  We are aiming for 40GW by 2030 and 120 GW by 2050.  That is up about 8,000 turbines.
