York

We travelled down the night before so we could have the whole day in York. After parking the car, we decided to start walking the City Walls. Unfortunately, the heavens opened and we got soaked! After drying in M&S for a bit, we then carried on shopping. We met Matt in Lucia's for a lovely lunch (thanks for the recommendation Mambo, it's a beautiful place) before doing a bit more shopping and finishing the City Walls walk. Thankfully, the sun came out after a wet start and the rest of the day was ok. We then visited Matt's student house for a cuppa and catch up while they watched the match.
