Sun and Shadows

The sun unexpectedly came out, so we drove to North Chagrin Reservation. We were treated to some lovely color.  It was hard to resist taking an unexpected long walk in the woods.   The sky, trees, temperature, and woodsy smell were glorious. We sat on the Arthur B Williams bench and reviewed all the significant events, etc of the past year.  We met some horses and lots of wonderful dogs and people. The third extra shows one of our favorite trees, about 200 years old.

Anyway, despite the bits of color seen here, we noticed lots of leaves are green, brown, and gold, but we're not seeing the usual amounts of orange, red, and purple.  It's hard to believe it was in the 50s today, October 31.

Another disappointing turnout for Halloween candy on our street.
