Misty Cairngorms

As the forecast was for a dry day we decided to go up a couple of hills, the Graham, Cook’s Cairn and the Corbett, Corryhabbie Hill. We parked at Allanreid and cycled up to near the old houses at Suie. It was definitely quicker by bike overall, but the track was wetter than the hill! We walked up the track towards the wind turbines on Cook’s Cairn first and then up to the summit where the views were good. We then went down to the col between it and Corryhabbie Hill before zig zagging up the track to the top. It was very windy on the top and cold but the view towards the Cairngorms and the showers there makes a good blip.

Best on black.
