Another postbox topper

On our way to Open Church coffee morning, Basil and I passed a lady and her helper who were placing this splendid knitted topper on the postbox on the corner of Fairway Road. Christmas already.

The lady lives in the corner house on Forest Street just across the road. Neighbours advised her not to leave the topper on because, sadly, there are instances of anti social behaviour.

So I caught her just before she removed it in order to take photos. She's going to take it to Age Concern for display, and make a knitted sleeve for a postbox there.

Spoke to Carol on the phone. She's still very poorly. A local GP had prescribed antibiotics that had upset her liver severely. I do hope she gets over it.

Actually went to a camera club session this evening out at Jamie's Farm. Pete was doing wire wool and light spinning. Carol was just too tired to come with me.
