Went over to the National Memorial Arboretum today. First time for quite a few years and first time with the dog. We could only walk the hard footpaths and designated dog route but we visited some of the newer memorials and others we hadn't seen.
Went past the beautiful Pegasus statue in memory of the airborne regiments and said a quiet prayer in memory of ASG .. quite a few blippers will remember him
If you get chance to go, please do. It's a beautiful place to reflect and remember those who went before us and the many lives lost so young. You do need to prebook tickets online but it's only £4 per car....not a lot really
