Roadmap Out Of Lockdown Step 4 - Day 107

The Museum of The Moon, Wells Cathedral

“The Museum of the Moon is a touring artwork by Luke Jerram. At an approximate scale of 1:500,000, each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture represents 5km of the moon’s surface. The installation is a fusion of lunar imagery, moonlight and surround sound composition created by BAFTA and Ivor Novello award winning composer Dan Jones.”

Getting her own back for yesterday’s vet visit, Toff had me up at 5.30am, so I was out in the garden raking leaves by 9am (3 degrees!). After a quick trip to the high street, and getting everything sorted at home, this afternoon my brother and I popped down to Wells for an hour to take a look at the amazing Museum of the Moon, and to buy sparklers!

Took dozens of photos but haven’t had time to look at them properly this evening, so, for now, two photos of the Moon in its magnificent setting (couldn’t decide which I preferred), and the facade of the cathedral against an amazing blue sky!

Take care, stay safe and well...
