Sheep obstacle

A walk in gorgeous sunshine today with my walking group and we landed up with more of an adventure than we bargained for. Like the walk leader I had decided to wear my wellies but everyone else was wearing walking boots. The route involved walking alongside two rivers and we have had a lot of rain lately. we needed to cross the river at one point over a narrow bridge but about ten sheep had walked up one side and were encamped. We tried to move them but they were big beasts and sheep won’t go backwards. The walk leader, first extra, decided to clamber over the top of them and five of us followed suit, not an easy manoeuvre. The others decided to take another route and meet up with us. Those of us who had gone over the bridge then had another obstacle, a rather large flood. I was OK in my wellies but it was too deep for walking boots so the others took off their boots and walked across, rather them than me. It looked rather rough under foot and they had nothing to dry their feet, second extra. We had our packed luches sitting in a field with some very warm sunshine. We had no more mishaps except a shower near the end but spotted these fungi, third extra.
