Just a walk in the park!

It rained.
 Mike had been asked to do a pcr test as part of some research so that was done first and then taken straight to the post office. According to the label it had to be scanned  but after queuing for a long time I was told to just stick it in the letterbox ..sigh

The rain eased off so we went up to the park. A bit muddy in places but a nice walk. The sun appeared briefly to light up this stags horn.  

It got dark so quickly I really dont know why the clocks need to go back.  I'm sure that it is more important for it to remain as light as possible at the end of the day. Children come home from school in the gloom  and dont get the chance to play out in the daylight. 

All set to go up to Penrith tomorrow  for the Ravs service. The weather forecast is looking good.. but I've just seen that there are roas works in the Ulverston "bottle neck" . Very long tail backs.  It's the only way out of Furness without a long detour. On days like this I really feel like we live on the edge of nowhere
