the biscuit jar

I've been making stuff again today; spelt and hazelnut biscuits, more hot cross buns and some gulab jamun which are deep fried Indian sweet things soaked in rose sugar syrup. I've been wanting to make those for years since I first tried them and fell in love with them, and today I did it; they were pretty good but the syrup was a tad watery. They don't look that pretty so I decided to photograph the biscuits instead.
