A trip to Sheep's Head

Back blipped on 3rd Nov

When we were arranging our trip to Ireland, I contacted Freespiral to see if we could meet.  She very kindly invited us to her lovely house for lunch, which extended to a walk round the circuit, and another cup of tea before we left to drive back to Doneraile.

The drive there was lovely - some narrow roads, but great scenery.  The drive back was of course largely in the dark, and involved a diversion into Macroom to find the EV charger.  We picked up sandwiches from the supermarket for a snack tea, and didn't get in to our flat until 9pm, by which time I was too tired to blip.

Freespiral and Himself were delightful hosts, and gave us some really useful information, along with a copy of her book of walks on Sheep's Head.
