Xmas is on its way

A great day out today.

First stop was the Redditch Needle Museum which was really fascinating. Only shame was that the water wheel was not in operation today. Amazed at the level of physical exertion required and danger particularly to the people who did the sharpening. Redditch and the surrounding areas of Studley and Alcester accounted for 90% of world production of needles and a local factory even provided needles to NASA for the space shuttle insulation.

Then on to Leamington for some shopping and a coffee and cinnamon bun. Whilst having our refreshment break the shop opposite was having its Xmas display hand painted on four windows. So the artist at work is my Blip for the day.
