(Short) Walk on the Wild Side

Our cats are housecats most of the time. They like to sit on the terrace and sniff around the garden, but rarely venture far beyond its boundaries - there’s simply too much competition out there, in the shape of bigger and fiercer cats.

So it took me by surprise to watch our Munni-cat climb the neighbour‘s apple tree today. I think she had spotted some birds up there, but they didn’t wait for her.

She sat in the branches for a while, enjoying the view - but jumped down to come back inside the nice warm house after a few minutes.
