Lochnagar

After yesterday’s great weather the rain that had brought floods to South Scotland reached us for our journey home. The journey was also complicated by a bad accident near Drumochter which closed the A9 for a couple of hours. We decided to go back via Tomintoul, the Lecht and Devil’s Elbow as it was only 5 minutes slower (according to Google) and much less traffic. The weather was rubbish, but I managed a fairly poor, but representative, shot of the view coming down towards Deeside. This is the view of the Lochnagar foothills. It also snowed at Glenshee to add excitement.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is wet grass and leaves.
