A night out

After a gloriously sunny day with little wind and the opportunity to sit out in shorts, we were out at a theatre for the first time in over 2 years.

Yes, face coverings had to be worn. But the pleasure at watching a live performance again was terrific. We were at the Scottish Opera’s latest production of The Gondoliers. Sumptuous sets and design. Enthusiastic entertaining cast with an updated script at one point drawing in a very funny way on sleaze, patronage and Barnard Castle.

A really enjoyable evening. Now for the lateral flow test in the morning.
