The View from Inside

The view from my window at Calderdale Royal Hospital - the morning after the day before ....  Today I saw the doctor for nasal surgery.  This involved removing the long nasal tamponade which has been up my nose for 36 hrs - uncomfortable!  Then inspecting the interior and cauterising the cause of the problem - even more uncomfortable! After this my nose was packed with something that would help repair the actions and then slowly dissolve - not pleasant!
I never knew my nose was such a delicate and sensitive part of my anatomy - but I do now!
Arrived home early evening - bed before long.
