A very apt Blip!!!

Today Ann made me sit next to one of the bins in the park (they all look like this) and for my Blip today she was just going to make some sort of comment that they all needed emptying.

Today has been a very 'shitty' day, so me sitting next to a bin full of it is actually quite apt!!!

Went for a 6 and a half mile walk this morning, which was just as well as I certainly haven't had time to go for a decent walk this afternoon.

Ann had to go and get her flu vaccine this afternoon at Ingliston, which is an out of town venue that she didn't want to go to. She didn't want to go there because there are venues much nearer to home and she'd heard that the queues were horrendous at Ingliston. Ever since Ann received her letter she has been trying to re-arrange her appointment to a nearer venue with no success. Since a week past Tuesday she has spent 1hour, 47mins & 3secs on hold, only to be told there are no new appointments available and to 'try again tomorrow'. The online rescheduling website hasn't been updated since 29th October. #whatashambles

Sooooooooooo...................... not being able to reschedule, off she went to Ingliston for an appointment at 1.50pm. She arrived at 1.35pm and joined a very, very, very, long queue. She estimated that there were probably about 250 people in the queue before her. However that was just the queue to get to the registration point. Once past the registration point there were probably at least another hundred people waiting. But at least once past the registration point she could sit down. Lol!

Long story short. After almost three hours she was free to go. Yay! And she got her Covid Booster as well. Yay! Well, if she hadn't, she certainly wouldn't be going back there again.

By the time she got home it was 5.30pm and dark. I was starting to get a bit worried because when Ann goes out and isn't going to come home until after dark, she always leaves a light on for me. Well how was she to know that a 5 min appointment at 1.50pm was going to morph into 3 hours???

When Ann eventually got home I went out for a little 'on my lead' walk. There were fireworks going off but they don't phase me because I am a very chillaxed little collie pup.

Home........... and Ann switched on the TV and yet again there is sound but no picture. Ann did what her very clever nephew, Dan, told her to do two days ago; but nothing??!! Surely a TV should last more than 5 years???

As we say............................... today has been a very 'shitty' day!!!!!
