Crimson

Today  our Waxcap monitoring team (all  3 of us!) went up to Longshaw to do our fortnightly survey. Each time, numbers have increased and today they were amazing. Lots of species of all colours - greens, pinks, oranges, browns, yellows . Particularly spectacular were the large Crimson Waxcaps - Hygrocybe punicea. Another younger one in extras.
