Flashes and bangs

There were lots of bangs and flashes when we went walking this evening. My little camera was not ideal for taking shots, but did manage one or two. Earlier in the day, we had a tree surgeon in to remove two trees that despite severe pruning in the past, were still growing too much.  I've put before and after pictures in Extras - we kept the trunk of the pine tree.
