Sunset

The sky put on a magnificent show last night. I took these shots from my balcony.

We are officially in winter now, however, it is still very warm. The pool is cooling down, but we can still swim.

Our Covid cases are on the rise, with over 400 cases a day being reported. As yet we have not been locked down as most of the cases are linked to markets. Most markets are now closed for deep cleaning. Unfortunately this has had a knock on effect for small restaurants and street food vendors, many of whom are now having to close, as they buy their ingredients from markets. On the positive side more people are getting vaccinated. Even school children from 12 years up are now being vaccinated.

My extra is of a print of an elephants face. It hangs on the wall of a restaurant that we frequent. I love the fact that the eye of this gentle giant is so full of intelligence.
