Helenium

I have very few flowers still in bloom ...... this rather water logged Helenium is one of the few.

It was such a wet, windy morning that three steps from my front door to the flower was all I could manage without drowning.

Things did improve a bit in the afternoon but by then I had made my blip choice.

I did feel sorry for the thousands of folk in Glasgow who were walking this morning to Glasgow Green to show their solidarity against climate change. By the time the various groups met up the weather had improved a bit.
