Tuatara and other delights

A great day today and we staggered to The Botanical Gardens and suitably refreshed at the Cafe lept on a free shuttle to Zealandia which is the pearl of Wellington and eco sanctuary in the heart of the city.
On the way we met "Fergus" (extra (1 ) an Australian sheep dog who was wonderfull to cuddle and later we met "Woodie" (extra 2) the Wood pigeon who needed to see weight watchers asap. Zealandia is a delight on any day but today it was packed and thoughts of afternoon Cafe visits were cancelled as soon as we got to the door and looked inside. And then came the delight of the afternoon as we got on the free shuttle (Electric) to return to the Cable Car and the bloke asked The Boss  if Wakefield's St was OK and we discovered that it ran into town as well.
The Tuatara is a Reptile endemic to NZ. These guys live about 60 years  and the Maori name "Tuatara" means "Peaks on the back"  They are not the easiest to see either...
