Friends from Hong Kong

Been a busy day with jobs fair for the boys and then meeting up with old friends from Hong Kong.

Job fair in Mooloolaba was fairly useful in that the boys got to speak to some recruiters and training companies too. Hope something will come of it.

Back home for a bit, before Martin joined us and then we all headed back to Mooloolaba to meet up with some old friends from Hong Kong. JR (in the middle) lives on the Gold Coast and Suzanne up here on the Sunshine Coast. Their daughters used to be in school with Jon and Ben in Discovery Bay, so they’ve known each other since they were about 9!

Lovely evening with them and it was great to see the boys finally with people their own age and people with a similar background.

We’ve arranged for them to come for afternoon tea tomorrow, hopefully with less background noise and less shouting conversation.
