I can see a rainbow

Picked up a couple of colourful leaves in the garden (beech, cherry and witch hazel) to play with, I really didn't do much more than slight moves in the levels and out popped all this colour ! Autumn always makes me sad and happy at the same time, sad because of the bare and cold days ahead and happy because of all the marvellous colours.

Thanks very much for all the Abstract Thursday entries of last Thursday. I'm planning to do some basics in abstract photography this month, this coming Thursday the optional theme is 'getting closer'. One of the basics of abstract photography is showing only a part of your subject, if possible from an alternative angle, in any case in a way so that it is not so easy to see what you are looking at. One of the ways to do that is to get as close as possible (or to crop a shot in an editing program). Maybe you can try with some mundane object ? Have fun trying it ! The tag will be AT333.

Here's the list of 5 specials from last week's entries:
pkln                         different view of a lampshade
NickyR                    lovely ICM in the woods
Pixelfoto                 multi-exposure street scene
amandaAlentejo   reflections with a minor disruption
Miranda1008         seed head abstract

Thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for waiting Bob on the rocking horse !
