Tapestry weaving workshop

I had a brilliant day today! A weaving workshop at Farfield Mill, Sedbergh. We were taught by Anna Wetherell, who firstly took us outside to find some inspiration in the environment.
I liked the look of moss growing on the limestone walls. 
Then we set to work trying not to muddle our sheds and heddles!
It was a great fun day, very instructive and I am  excited to try my massive Ashford loom….. maybe after a few more workshops!
Small world, it turns out that Anna knows my husband, and friend Jacqui, from her past life in  Natural England!
